Empowering Good Governance Magazine is an online publication which tackles the general subject of governance as well as the topic of international development policy and practice.

Our audience, therefore, includes government functionaries, civil society advocates and activists, academics, international development practitioners and other such operatives that comprise the ranks of government institutions, development agencies and learning institutions. We also seek to engage the interest of public citizens who are thought leaders and change agents.

Empowering Good Governance Magazine serves as a literary publication on how we govern ourselves. The way we view, organize and fulfill the way we live collectively is of interest to us. Our publication applies this prevailing interest to the different realms that sort the way our societies are challenged and are successful. For example, the way we tackle the tasks of educating ourselves, feeding ourselves, sheltering ourselves and politicking amongst ourselves are all fodder for discussion.

We welcome fresh thinking, enterprising ideas, solid arguments, strong opinions and fierce intellect. Contributors are therefore encouraged to be bold and assertive yet reflective and reasoned in their submissions to us.

We encourage you to use your own style of writing. We only ask that you organize your thinking and writing so that articulation is crisp, ideas are transparent and conclusions are bold. Most importantly we demand that you acknowledge all sources and pay homage to your inspirations.

If you are unclear about what you’d like to write about and submit to us and/or you need further clarity on what and how to write for us, we suggest you send us a proposed article treatment which may detail your supposition/thesis, the counter argument/antithesis and the conclusion/synthesis around which you will be working. Feel free to express yourself; just do so with clarity, and flair if you so choose.

Lastly, we also welcome pre-existing material; for example a white paper, a concept note, a research study or a policy report that has already been developed or published.

The work you publish with us is yours. Only specifically commissioned work remains ours (as well as yours).

Thank you for your interest in contributing to our publication. Our contact details are disclosed on our site – www.eggmagazine.net
